DESCRIPTION:Make Downtown Yakima Farmers Market your outdoor grocery store!!\n\nThe DYFM will be open on Sundays\, 9am-1pm\, running thru October 10th.\n\nThis Sunday is our first KIDS’ DAY of the season! The Yakima Master Gardeners Youth Team will be there passing out their May activity kits with educational materials about birds. Available while supplies last\, so get to the market early.\n\nDYFM is a community Farmers Market in the heart of Downtown Yakima\, Washington administered by the Downtown Association of Yakima (DAY). The Market provides an outlet for Washington State’s farmers\, specialty food producers\, artisan & craft makers\, food preparers\, and entertainers (buskers) to directly sell their foods and handcrafted products and to provide consumers an opportunity to buy such products directly from producers.\n\nCOVID-19 protocols will be in place and DYFM will enforce the WA State face mask mandate. Face masks/shields must be worn while inside the market parameters at all times.\nWe have worked closely with the Yakima Health District\, The City of Yakima and the Washington State Farmers Market Association on protocols that will help keep our shoppers\, vendors\, volunteers\, and staff safe.\n\nTheme days\, activities and entertainment will vary depending on Yakima County’s Recovery and Reopening Phase.
